Revisiting the Mountain: Week 2 – “The Allusions of the Beatitudes” Matthew 5:1-12

On February 12th, the Mosaic community discussed and learned about the Beatitudes.  So much more could have been said!  What did Jesus mean when He said, “Blessed are the poor in spirit”?  What about those who “hunger and thirst for righteousness”?  Are these merely BE ATTITUDES (meaning, attitudes we should have as Christians) or are they more than that?  Jesus seemed to be speaking about a life of action and intention when he shared with His disciples what their lives should look like.
